Barnes Concrete has been manufacturing and delivering ready-mix concrete for 50 years! This family owned and operated business is a reputable company built by hardworking, honest people. After working as a businessman under East Putnam Concrete for 3 Years, Donald Barnes renamed and incorporated the business as Barnes Concrete in 1970. With only three mixers and a small batch plant, Don and his wife Mary (who often ran the operation while he was on a job) built a business that has grown into the successful company it is today. After several expansions, Barnes Concrete now operates with a steady 12 mixers throughout the tri-state area and mines multiple gravel banks to provide quality material.
Donald’s sons, David and Bruce, have since taken over the family business, upholding their father’s legacy and maintaining the success of Barnes Concrete.
